What We Do

The FGRR is currently the only organization with aims to influence and increase the population of all rare breeds in Flashy Gaits. We are here to give members and their "rare" horses a chance to compete in shows, events and specialist gradings/judged days without the bearing of commonly-seen, prize winning breeds. We routinely check the numbers of each breed and include or remove dependent on the numbers to keep showing fair and fun. Looking to the future, when a breed becomes to big and is removed from the registry we award ourselves and the members a huge pat-on-the-back but, also encourage members to continue/get involved with that breed or start an individual association for them. Despite only being small, we put a whole load of input and help towards anyone needing guidance with rare breeds or starting an association. In the future we hope to acquire our own premisis where we can breed rare breeds and offer them to the public; decrease their rariety and increase the FGRR Fund.

The FGRR Fund

Note: The FGRR Fund has not yet been opened, this is a future plan.
So, the FGRR Fund has been briefly mentioned and we prize it so much, it recieves it's own little section on the page. Firstly, the FGRR is a non-profit registry and all money we recieve goes into the FGRR Fund and then back out in Flashy Gaits. Yes everything! With money being a main factor in the fund, we also would like to have horses. Boardered at Camelot (temperary) and then either nursed, trained or showed to make them more appealing - if their looks aren't enough! - we'd love to auction, sell or prize members with a rare arrival in their barn. The FGRR also accepts donations of any sort: money, horses, breedings.
